About AFSIC

We are a service-oriented team of librarians and information specialists who work to link people to the information they need. As a group, we represent more than 65 years in the fields of alternative agriculture and/or library science. In addition to activities at the Library, individual staff members travel to several farm and library conferences annually. This allows us to not only provide information about our services to as wide an audience as possible, it enables us learn about hot agricultural topics, information access concerns and the latest technological developments that will help further our mission. Staff members make presentations related to AFSIC services, sustainable agriculture-related information resources, up-to-date searching techniques and related topics. Please contact us if we may provide outreach materials, publications, the AFSIC exhibit and/or presentations at your meeting.
